Abe was a Monterey County Sheriff's Posse member, rodeo announcer, bronc rider and rodeo clown during the 1920's.
He was inducted into the Rodeo Hall of Fame of the Rodeo Historical Society (a support group of the
National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum) in 1990.
Abe served as official announcer for the Salinas CA rodeo 1928-51.
